Dawn Of Winter

It was an exceedingly grey day when the tempreature made it above 0 again. I think I prefer the colder weather compared to this. It's no fun to jump on the bink when the rain hangs from the leaded sky.

Grey

It actually was funny when it started to snow here. There was about 2½cm MAX on the ground but still people taked about snow chaos... Screaming about winter tyres and so on. Sure, it do get slippry very fast but come on... In Gävle we started to think about the winter tyres at the first snow... I tried the breaks and it worked fine but apparently I was the only one who didn't think the roads were icy.

Bright winter day

The coolest thing with the change in weather is the phenomenons served by nature. The light was amazing and I really wanted to go out with my camera, snow on the ground and waterdrops falling from the trees, creating a very fascinating effect... Had to settle for a picture out through the window though.

Cold winter morning

The dawn at this time of the year really is neat too, the light is so cool and the colours are amazing. The sky can go from steel blue, through pink and yellow to bright red. It's very hard to capture with the camera though, and this is just the mobile one so the picture don't say anything at all really.

Then I've been shopping some records. This batch is from a few different purchases. Some from the really cool recordstore next to Biebob, the rest from eBay. It's very nice to be able to look through a lot of records, buy a bunch and still feel like you've done a bargain.

Keep It True

Syris, Kalapacs and Stormwitch isn't the easiest records to find up here in the north. The Fight album wasn't really necessary, just for the collection to complete the Halford discography! I was happy they had the new Flotsam & Jetsam album too, only seem to be available on really expensive import here. The new one "The Cold" is great, I really like it.

The I did some shopping that isn't very common for me. It all started at the end of last summer when I was in Malaysia on a business trip. We were thrown out of our rooms quite early and the flight back home was late in the evening. The hotel reception suggested us to visit their SPA to kill some time. Sure thing! Those Angsana SPA's are amazing. The atmosphere was very soothing and really cozy. After the massage and tea party they offered the possibility to use all their amazing products getting ready, schampoo, lotion and whatever.

Skin lotion, hand lotion, scrub, foot lotion, lip balm, all you need

Afterwards in the shop I bought a Green Tea Jasmine Handlotion and that's the best thing I've ever had. Smells good and is perfect for my skin. Now the Angsana webshop had a sale so I went berzerk and bunkered up. The products aren't very expensive themselves but the shipping to Sweden, customs fee and problems to get the package from UPS messes things up a little. No matter what, it's worth it. Amazing products and I really hope I'll get another chance to visit one of their SPA's.

Then, which wasn't as pleasant because it was freezing outside, I went on a photoshoot with Cult Of The Fox. First by the sea to match the theme on the demo. Then some in the woods... One tree in a park actually CAN look like the woods, that's what so fun with photography.

Photo of the photographer

It's really amazing though how had it is to get four people stand still and pose at the same time. It was a fun shoot though, a lot of fooling around with the attributes on the beach... There's a story about a stone for some other occastion.

They come from the land with the ice and snow

One thing's for sure. I must practice giving instructions. Try to figure out what to say to get people moving the way I wan't to. It wasn't any problem here really but it feels really stupid waving the arms and making sound to try to caputre an expression.

Anger management

Now it's been very nice with a Friday night at home, all alone. Could finish some Metal Temple stuff and work on some new ones. Peter and the Cat comes home tomorrow! Peter has night guests in Malmö today for the Watain gig and Strumpan has been there since we went to Holland/Belgium. It didn't take long to get used to have the cat around, it's been extremely empty and quiet in the flat the last week.

Doppelganger

Tomorrow will be a busy day. I need to fix the last things with the car before the re-checkup. Yep, it passed straight through, almost. To the controllers disappointment, or as he put it "it's not at all as bad as it seems, looks like shit though". Just some minor fixes, now I need one new lightbulb and some winter tyres, that's for the agenda tomorrow! Then Demon at Zaragon Rock Club in Jönköping, that will be fun.
