Cult Of The Fox "A Vow Of Vengeance" was released July 29th 2011 on Metalbound Records.
The climate is hard these days but the response on the album has actually been really good, fantastic even. I think we all were surprised by the first few reviews and as cynic as we are started to wait for the turning point. Of course the album has been slaughtered too but in genreal the response has been very good, both in description and grade. Just look at this;

The next part should pehaps be included in the cronicle of 2012 but since it happened so early here goes anyway. Gigs is always fun, especially when get to play for real Metal fans and not only forcing our closest friends to show up at some weird place back in town. So the year was kicked off with 2 gigs. The first one at The Rambler in Eindhoven, Netherlands with Surpuissance and Ear Danger, then in France, at La Chimere, Lille with Surpuissance and Aywarn. Really good ones both of them.
The shows was briefly documented. The one from Lille especially where a bunch of snippets were cut together to a really cool video.
A big thanks to Nick and Rachel for the videos.
About the upcoming Cult Of The Fox album... Yes, it is actually basically written. At least the basics for each song and if everything goes according to plan we will start to record during the summer for a fall release. Again, if nothing changes the album will be titled "Angelsbane"...
Oh, by the way, Pelle decided to quit the band late last year since he wanted to spend more time with his family so all the best to him. Fredric who stepped in on the gigs in Netherlands and France realized he didn't have enough time to put on the band but his effort on these two gigs was amazing. So, Cult Of The Fox are looking for a new guitarplayer... Anyone who knows someone that might suite?
Cheers
