Yes, two more days of rain before we can enjoy the Maltese sun! Looking at the forecast it will be +20-25 and light clouds...
Really looking forward to see Forsaken again. Their gig, a few years back still remain as one of the mightiest concert experiences ever. Same goes for Victims Of Creation. Gonna be awesome to see these bands again!
Will be great to see Manilla Road, Desolation Angels and a few more too of course. Was great the last time I saw then and I'm sure they will repeat the same again.

I just need to prepare the camera and I'm ready to go. Better dig into that right now so I don't forget. I realized in Bucharest I might need a small flash for some dark stages, miss that on my new camera. Had it on the 50D but not on the new one... Tips anyone? It's a 5D I have now!

And I'm so looking forward to crawl into my own bed with a bucket if Icecream now... And watch TV where I understand what they say! Had BBC world at the hotel in Paris and then only local channels. Not that I had very much time to watch of course.

But it att became a little crazy. The trip to Bucharest was planned since long and Paris was supposed to be next week. But things change and I checked out of the Romania trip and went straight to the next check in... Not even home to change bag this time. But work is work and it doesn't matter if I'm in Borås, Stockholm or Paris really...

Would have been nice to stay in Paris a few more days though. Salem is playing Tomorrow and that would have been cool to see. But it is much going on the coming weeks anyway. Awesome Malta Doom Metal Festival. (starts to get tough with all musts now, OGF sure is another), a first visit to Dutch Doom Days and a bunch of concerts. Trouble, Saint Vitus, Overkill, Saxon...

Worth mentioning is how damn nice it was in Bucharest. Superfriendly people and a very cool atmosphere. Good and cheap beer too! ;-) It's also very cool to see another part of the scene too. Great bands on the bill, most of them were awesome. I was very impressed with Damage Case and The Outer Limits. Then Root was the coolest, Cancer the biggest surprise. And of course, Entombed, Grave and Desaster are always good!

And as it looks now, it might be another work trip during November. We'll see what happens.

But just a few more minutes now and I'm HOME!

One night in B....

Compared to what I've read about Romania in Swedish press over the years it feels like I've travelled to a completely different place. Everything published has been very negative. Of course we've been here less than 24 hours just but until now everything has been great. Romania is a very friendly country.

Yesterday we went out for some local food and beers, which was really nice! Eating delicious sausages and cheese pie... Sounds nice, eh? It was!

We also went to Private Hell rock/metal pub! Cool little place with very good music. A lot of goodies which never is played out in bars at home!

We left quite early though, needed sleep since we had to get up at 5am to catch our flight here. But now we're boosted and ready for Old Grave Fest!

First up...

Yep, it will be a lot of travelling the coming days/week... It's not really how I planned it from the start. Then it was just supposed to be a break from work. Not a break and then moving on to tasks that generates even more work.
But at least it means a week at another office than the regular one.

And it sure is nice with some vacation before next week. I'm actually really excited about the trip, since it's a whole new place to visit and hopefully it still is end of summer Instead of dark and rainy there as well! Where? Later...

But it will be an intense fall! Lots of concerts coming (Trouble, Overkill, Saxon , Saint Vitus...) and Festivals (MDM, DDD, OGF)... So it sure is catching up for a rather calm Festival summer!

But first there's a bit home and I need to repack my bag, which will be a challenge since I want to fit all into my small bag... We'll see how that works out!

Happy midweek for me...

And yes, I've earned a good dinner today. Had done half the weeks hours yesterday already. Long day today as well and after this it's straight back to work again. Ok, not the office but work from hotell it will be. At least I will be home on friday and if everything flows, hopefully I can take a few hours off and work on VOID MOON and METAL KAOZ stuff!

I've been stuck in the AC/DC biography written by Mick Wall the last few weeks. I sure love the way he writes and his language... It really inspires me to put more effort in what I do, to get better. Energy is lacking sometimes though. But I can really recommend his books, the AC/DC one was translated to Swedish so some of the grace was lost. Still very good. Now I'm on to Symptom of the Universe but since I've been reading lots of Sabbath books lately I really should have taken the Metallica book Instead...
