Sleeping beauty

Friday we finally got our batch of the Void Moon 7" "Where the Sleeper Lies Awake" and I must say they look awesome. Hopefully the new patches arrives before HOA as well.

Only a few days before we leave and it's gonna be a lot of fun. I just have too little time to sort everything out. Gonna be some stressful days...

Upgrading a bit

Yes! I've finally come to the point to start using my EOS 5D MkIII now. Have just been playing with it up until now but tonight I'll bring it on a real mission. Sebastian Bach @ Sticky Fingers in Gbg.
I still don't have the right program to handle the raw files, but hopefully I will be able to fix that during the coming weekend!

Also bought a new bag for the camera yesterday. Lowepro Sport something... I like the old one but it wasn't designed for cameras and squeezing down lenses and camera sure tore on them. Hopefully this new won't do that as much!

Else vacation mode starts to set. I still have things to take care of before I can call it a day but it feels like I'll manage most things before Friday and that's good.

Looking forward to a few cold ones now!

Let's go to SkidRow

Well, I was nerver a huge fan of SkidRow back in the days but their gig at Hovet in Stockholm in 1991 is still one of the best gigs ever. Even If we had seats, yes, seats in the far back of the venue it still is one of the most intense concerts ever!

I got Sebastian Bach's record a week or so ago but didn't manage to pick it up until now. First, what a line-up he has, Steve Steven, John 5 and Duff Mckagan. Hope they all are in on the tour too!!! The album sounds VERY good, Heavy but still very catchy! So this sure feels promising for Tomorrow!!

Toys in the attic

Should probably have been another recordshoppers anonymous this one but I just need to try out my new toy first! Got myself an Xperia Z2 so for the first time ever my private Phone is better than my workphone... I like it and with the free wifi at Copenhell it was a bit too easy to "out" everyone! Fun of course! And it is something to brag about to meet Michael Denner!

Next week I have one day vacation, gonna   see Vicious Rumors in Munich. Awesome I think since "Live you to Detta 2" kicks assistent.

But first, BBQ and beer! Deserve this since I drove to and home from Copenhell every day!

NP: Steel Prophet - Omniscient

Home again and it's raining

Metal Magic Festival was awesome as expected.  No doubt about that!  Great bands and cool people. Dark Quarterer did an amazing gig,  pure magic!  Then Desolation Angels,  Ear Danger, Paragon, Portrait and som more was really good too! And it's sooo good to hang out in the sun, with nice people, drinking cheap beer and just enjoy a weekend of Metal.

The good thing about Festivals like Metal Magic is that band merch is cheap!  So we sure did some shopping.   One supercool vinyl edition of Danish cult band Metal Cross,  booklet,  7" and more... Also, Desolation Angels had an 80's 7" with them,  Valhalla for a bargain price!

Another really cool buy was the first Dark Quarterer album on original vinyl. The even cooler thing was that Gianno and Paulo signed it, even got kind of an artwork together with the signature also. 

One more week of work now before VACATION!!!!

Festival time

Yes,  vacation is coming closer but I still have another week to work and it will be a tough one. So many things dragning, especially dokumentation,  but it's hard to do anything good with only one hour here and there which isn't booked for meetings.

Anyway, these last few weeks I've been catching up with METAL KAOZ things. Picture edition, reviewing records (THRASHBACK, TEMTRIS, VADER...) goodies. At the same time sweating my ass off in the shoebox flat but I'm glad raining has stopped at least!

Tomorrow we're off to METAL MAGIC! Gonna be awesome!!!

Almost a tour now...

Yep, VOID MOON will play DOOM OVER SCANIA next year too. And since last festival was a blast, so many good shows including SORCERER,  MORTALICUM, STONE GRIFF,  HANDS OF ORLAC... And then looking at the new billig. It will be Great again!
But first we have DUTCH DOOM DAYS and we are working to confirm more gigs.
